I started out as an avid poker player, but after catching an extended streak of bad beats that decimated my bankroll, I decided to look for more constructive hobbies. In the end, I took up investing for several reasons. As a business/econ major, investments and the financial markets are fairly relevant to most of my future career choices. In addition, I believe that becoming a successful investor is an essential aspect of financial success.
